1930 ~ 2004

Merrilyn Milliner, age 73, passed away on March 30, 2004 in Salt Lake City Utah.

She was born on August 1, 1930, to Merrill John and Stella Giles Reese in a log cabin in Heber City, Utah. She married Kenneth Milliner on December 11, 1948, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in August of 1970. She was active in the L.D.S. Church where she served as Primary President, a visiting teacher, and a genealogical extractor and various other callings. She belonged to a Bridge club and a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed playing Bridge, tennis, fishing, golfing, and reading. Above all, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Ken, sons, Alan K. and Barbara, Coalville, Utah; and Keith Reese, Magna, Utah; and daughters, Gloria Jean and Richard Leitheiser, and Karen and Marty Granato, both of Sandy, Utah; and brothers, Kay T. and Karl Reese; and a sister Gloria Jones, as well as 11 grandchildren, Brook, Tara, Travis, Kenny, Jeremiah, Kacee, Blake, Jaci, Mike, Matt, and Marissa; also six great-grandsons.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Norma Jacobson and a granddaughter, Sandra Milliner.

Funeral service will be on Friday, April 2, 2004 at 12:00 noon in the Canyon Rim Stake Center, at 3051 South and 2900 East in Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call at the church from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Peoa Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas.
