Eunice Roskelley Carn, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 14, 2004.
She was born June 21, 1911 in Brigham City, Utah to Charles Ora and Ella Frances Smith Roskelley.
She graduated from Box Elder High School, completed nurses training at the Dee Memorial Hospital, attended Western Reserve, University of Utah and Brigham Young University. In 1969, she received a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Weber State College, retiring in 1975 from Weber County Schools.
On June 30, 1938 she married Reginald Albert Carn in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away in 1990.
As a faithful member of the LDS Church, she had many responsibilities throughout her life including serving many years at the Ogden LDS Temple.
Eunice will always be remembered for her love of nature and her beautiful flower gardens. She was the happiest though when she was serving others in her quiet, unpretentious way. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Mary Frances Killpack, Ogden, William "Ross" (Diane) Carn, Naperville, IL, Ruth Carn, Ogden, Carol (Floyd) Johnson, Price, Dr. Thomas (Debora) Carn, Orem; a special niece, Stella (Dr. Dean) Packard, Ogden; 22 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchil-dren; two brothers, Lowell (Alta) and Dean (Joyce) Roskelley; and one sister, Mary (Frank) Carruth. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, a son-in-law, and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 24th at 4 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Email condolences to the family at lom@lindquistmortuary.com
