I agree with you, Collin Cluff (Readers' Forum, April 23). We whine because we are of a pampered generation. You have sliced through the rhetoric with a knife. Yes, it is simple to me, too. If you do not like something, leave it. If you do not like this country, then move. If you break the law, you should get punished. Of course, we all know that this is old-school.
The pampered way of thinking is reverse thinking. If you do not like something, protest and change it. If you do the crime, you should not have to do the time. And if you clumsily spill hot coffee on yourself, then you have every right to sue.
