A Salt Lake County man has admitted stealing identities in order to be approved for property loans and buy building materials.

Rick Loren Denison pleaded guilty Friday in Salt Lake City's U.S. District Court to two felony charges of identity fraud and failing to render a proper tax return.

The Utah Tax Commission estimates Denison owes $15,000 to $20,000 in outstanding losses.
