We thank you for your great coverage of the programs offered by Spy Hop Productions, including our upcoming Locomotion International Film Festival, our open-mic program and our Youth Documentary Arts Program (Weekend section, April 23).

As a not-for-profit youth-media organization, Spy Hop is dependent on the generosity and support of numerous organizations and individuals in order to run these programs.

Generous support from the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration of Salt Lake City, for example, has made the Locomotion Film Festival possible for the last three years. The documentary collaboration with Horizonte Instruction and Training Center is made possible by a Youth Visions for Stronger Neighborhoods grant from the Community Technology Center Network (CTCNet), which is sponsored by the Learn and Serve America division of the Corporation for National Service.

We thank these organizations, as well as the many other local and national foundations, government agencies and individual donors that make it possible for us to provide exciting opportunities for youth along the Wasatch Front.
