Bob Child Cushing, 70, passed away May 2, 2004 in Salt Lake City, UT. Born April 7, 1934 to Milton Dowden Cushing and Beth Child in Salt Lake City, UT. Married Diana K. Jaworsky, May 15, 1976.
He graduated from East High School and then went on to the University of Utah and played on the football team. He then enlisted in the U. S. Marines Corp and served with honors in the Korean War. He also played a short time for the Greenbay Packers. Bob enjoyed weekends at Lake Powell with his family. He also enjoyed deer hunting, four wheeling with his friends and golfing with his daughter. He loved his work as a Realtor and a general contractor building custom homes.
Survived by his wife, Diana and daughters, Jennifer Cushing Felt (Chad), Michelle Cushing, and Cynthie Cushing. His sisters, Bobbie Jo Markham (Richard), and Nancy C. Runyan (Michael). Cousins Virginia Solomon and John Howard. He had several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, mother, brother George, and sister Kathryn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday May 6, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, where friends may call one our prior to services. www.larkinmortuary.com
