1924 ~ 2004
Saturday, May 22, 2004, Aunt Freda passed from this life into the arms of her Loving Heavenly Father.
She was born in Raymond, Alberta, Canada on February 24, 1924 to Charles and Maude Corless Lafferty. After finishing her schooling in Raymond she moved to Midvale, Utah, July of 1946.
She attended business school and was employed at Z.C.M.I., first as a sales auditor and then in payroll. She retired after 42 years of service. Aunt Freda was active in her church, teaching primary and nursery. After retiring she worked in the Salt Lake City Temple.
Aunt Freda's greatest joy was when she was in the service of others. So many friends and families were on the receiving end of her kind generosities whether it was caring for the sick or a freshly baked bag of goodies. She loved little children and spent her life caring for so many. How lucky we all have been to have had her in our lives. She was a hard worker and gave all that she had to others.
Aunt Freda is survived by her brothers, Dennis, Bob and Bill; sister, Lucille Kemp; sister-in-law, Claudine; and many friends, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Watson, Max and Harry; sisters, Louvenia and Jean.
