Jewell passed away peacefully on June 14, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on January 17, 1911 to Charles Julius and Edith Sophia Johnson Erickson. She married Art Oldham in 1979. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Jewell is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Erickson; three nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Charles Richard Erickson and two sisters, Helen Erickson Owens and Margaret Erickson Livsey.

Family graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 16, at 11 a.m. in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
