Karol Hatch passed away at her home on May 31, 2004 from cancer.

Karol was born Dec. 20, 1953, in Burley, Idaho, to Elton Given and Zelma Orton Hatch. She was the youngest of seven children. She married Gregory M. Kerr, July 17, 1975, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They were later divorced.

Karol was a member of the LDS church and held many positions as a teacher and leader. She was a Relief Society teacher at the time of her death. Karol will be remembered for her courage, work ethic, integrity, sense of humor and most of all, for unconditional love for her family and the Lord. Her life is a legacy of faith to her family.

She is survived by her children, Karlin (Jason) Kessler, Jacob Spori, Trevor Marion, G. Brady serving in Washington Kennewick LDS Mission, Baylee and Griffin McKay Kerr. Preceded in death by her son Robert Elton Kerr and her parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Fri., June 4th, 2004 at the Taylorsville 43rd Ward, 3120 W. 4700 So., West Valley City, Utah, where friends may call Thurs. evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church and Fri. morning from 9-9:45 a.m. Interment View Cemetery, View, Idaho, dedication at 4 p.m. Funeral Directors, Broomhead Funeral Home, Riverton, UT.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the numerous professionals, ward members, dear friends and family, that have generously given such loving and tender care to our Mother.

In lieu of flowers, donations and contributions can be made to an educational fund for the younger children at any Washington Mutual Branch under the Karol Hatch Family Fund.
