GUNNISON, UTAH - <! > Our kind and loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and friend, Stephanie Anne Floto Prisbrey, age 38, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2004 in Gunnison, Utah, due to the effects of a rare lung disease called idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis.
Stephanie was born October 27, 1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dennis LeRoy Floto and Karen Christine Carlston. She was adopted by her loving and devoted father, Blaine Prince Prisbrey, February 7, 1973.
Stephanie has served as the Gunnison City Librarian for the past three years. She was a very active member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings, primarily in the Young Women's Program on both ward and stake level. She received her endowments from the Manti LDS Temple, February 9, 1999.
She is survived by her parents, Blaine and Karen Prisbrey of Gunnison; brothers and sisters: Dennis and Staci Prisbrey of Aurora; Devin and Ginger Prisbrey of St. George; Lindsay and Tresa Prisbrey of Boise, ID; Frances and David Grooves of West Jordan; Lynette and Charles (Chuck) Giles of Heber City; 12 nephews; four nieces; grandmother: Marjorie Carlston of Sandy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Stacy Lundin; one nephew; and her grandparents: John Robert Carlston; Henry J. and Zina Prince Prisbrey.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 12 Noon in the Gunnison LDS Stake Center, 80 West Center Street in Gunnison, where friends may call for viewing Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and again Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Gunnison City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
