1925 ~ 2004
Mele Tasia Fevanga, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and auntie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family June 25, 2004.
Mele Tasia was born November 14, 1925 in Neiafu, Vava'u, Tonga to Sione Fonua of Neiafu, Vava'u and Sela Tapu'osi Lusaipau of Mataika, Vava'u. She was married to the late Viliami Peluafa Fevanga and together they had five children, Tano'a (deceased), Lea'ae Papa (deceased), Polokava ('Ofa), Kearns, Oso (Tapaita), Sandy, Pita (Latu), Kearns; and 13 grandchildren, Junior, Nuku, 'Ana, Mele Tasia, Peni, Sabra, Sosaia, 'Emeline, Chaney, Sione Laufoli, Tasia Malafu, Salesi, and Siale.
Mele Tasia was a loving, caring, and hardworking mother. She loved to serve and was proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, especially her first grandson serving a mission (Nuku), in Long Beach, California. Mele Tasia's life was an example of love, courage, and Christ-like charity. Even in her final days, she touched everyone by her bright shining smile and the strength of her

Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday June 30, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the South Jordan 10th (Tongan) Ward located at 275 E. 10600 South, Sandy. Family and Friends may call Tuesday June 29, 7-11 p.m. at the Lake Hills Memorial, 10055 South State Street and at the Ward Wed-nesday one hour prior to services. Interment - Valley View Memorial Park. Funeral Directors, Memorial Mortuary.
