LINDON — Vintela, a provider of innovative platform integration solutions for Unix and Windows, said Thursday it has acquired Australian-based Wedgetail Communications.
Financial terms were not disclosed, although Vintela will receive $3 million in additional funding. Allen and Buckeridge, a venture capital firm with offices in Australia and Silicon Valley, joins Vintela as an investment partner.
Wedgetail provides enterprise security integration technology. Its Australian office will serve as both a development center and as the Vintela regional sales office for the Asia-Pacific region.
