Marion Hanks Toko, 16, born December 28, 1987 entered eternal rest July 17, 2004.

Son of Vasimata and Lolohea Toko. Known for his beautiful smile and adorable dimples.

Marion was very close to his immediate and extended families. His characteristics are described as loving, humble, giving, athletic, hard-working, and as the "goofy" one.

Currently he was attending Bountiful High School. He was a very talented athlete, which included basketball, wrestling, and most importantly football. He helped his team to win back-to-back (2002-2003) Football State Championships. All of these led him to be recognized as "Who's Who" in athletics.

He had is own special way of doing and saying things. There aren't enough words to describe our "HERO." He saved 18 family members' lives. Because of that, we are all indebted to him. He did what came naturally he protected his family. His last moments were spent laughing and playing with loved ones.

Marion is survived by his parents; five brothers, Sosefo (Vinola), Linden, Apolosi, Simone, and Tonga; three sisters, Pauline, Tolofina, and Sela Tule; a niece and nephews; and many aunties, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by Grandpa Mafi, Grandma Nusi; and cousin, Rose Marie.

The family would like to thank friends, the community, family members and everyone for their tremendous support.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 27 th , 7-11 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd; Wednesday, July 28 th , 6 p.m. to midnight at Riverside Ward, 660 N. Redwood Rd; and Thursday 29 th , 10-11 a.m. at the same ward. Burial will be at Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
