Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Rebecca "Becky" Deaton, age 55, passed away July 25, 2004 in New Mexico.
Born March 26, 1949 in Clovis, New Mexico, daughter of G.E. Newman and Emma Josephine Wilson.
Mom loved gardening and birds of all kinds as well as collecting dolls. She served in the United States Army.
She is survived by her husband, Marlan; son, Jerry (Kira) Darling; daughter, Joy (Randy) Buckner; grandchildren, Bailey Neff and Brendan Buckner; sisters, Georgia (Ferris) Timothy, Ann Dean, and Stella (Russ) Barker.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where family and friends may visit Monday, 6-8 p.m. and again Tuesday, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery, Bountiful, Utah.
