Tammy Kikuchi has been named executive director of The First Tee, a nonprofit junior golf program. Prior to joining The First Tee of Salt Lake City, Kikuchi was director of community and media relations for West Valley City. She is a graduate of the University of Utah.

Jim Butler was named resident partner of Parsons Behle & Latimer's new Nevada office. He will oversee operations of the office in Reno, which opened last month. Butler's practice concentrates on environmental and natural resources law, with an emphasis on mining law and mine permitting.

The Utah State Bar announced its 2004-2005 officers. N. George Daines, a partner with the law firm of Barrett & Daines and Cache County Attorney, was named president of the bar. Daines' practice focuses on business, finance and real estate law. He is a graduate of the Yale University Law School and is a founder of Cache Valley Bank. David R. Bird, a shareholder at Parsons Behle & Latimer, was named president-elect. Bird is a graduate of the Brigham Young University Law School. He concentrates his practice in natural resources and government relations.

Larry D. Bunkall has joined Kennecott Utah Copper as assistant director of government and public affairs. Prior to joining Kennecott, Bunkall was government relations director with a local law firm. Before that, he was president of the Utah Manufacturers Association. Bunkall is a graduate of the U. and BYU.

Intermountain Health Care announced two staff additions. David Grauer was named administrator of the Intermountain Medical Center, currently under construction. Grauer joined IHC in 1993 and has served as administrator of two Utah medical facilities. The center is expected to open in 2007. Mikelle Moore was named administrator of LDS Hospital. Moore has served as an operations officer in IHC's urban central region since 2000 and has been with IHC since 1998. She is the 13th administrator at LDS Hospital and the first woman to serve in that role.

Scott A. Gutting, founder and president of Energy Strategies, has been re-elected to the board of directors of the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. WECC was founded in 1967 to coordinate an electric power system in the western United States, Canada and Mexico. Energy Strategies is a Salt Lake energy consulting firm.

Dan Bradshaw was appointed vice president and commercial loan officer at the downtown Salt Lake branch of Bank of Utah. Bradshaw has 34 years of banking experience, including experience as branch manager, investment officer and commercial loan officer.

Accountants Inc., a nationwide accounting and finance staffing company, has named Darrell Stoker as client relations manager for its Salt Lake team. Stoker is a graduate of Utah State University and has four years of experience in the staffing industry.

Vivian Chi has joined The Regence Group as vice president of claims. The Regence Group is an affiliation of four BlueCross BlueShield companies in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Utah. In her new job, Chi will lead all claims processing functions in the four-state region. She will be based in the company's Salt Lake offices.

Raymond Torres has joined Allstate Insurance Co. as an exclusive agent and has opened an agency in Salt Lake City. Torres is licensed to sell auto, home, life and commercial insurance, as well as financial service products including long-term care insurance, mutual funds, certificates of deposit and annuities. Torres is a graduate of Mount Wachusetts College and the University of Maryland.

Brighton Bank announced two staff changes. Shanna Speredon was elected to serve as corporate and board secretary. Speredon is currently senior vice president and chief financial officer of the bank. She started her banking career in 1972 and has worked for Brighton since 1980. Matthew B. Hunt has joined the bank as vice president, manager and commercial loan officer at its main office. Hunt specializes in commercial real estate and small-business lending. He is a graduate of the U. and is enrolled at the Pacific Coast School of Banking.

Nathan Williams was named president of LifeStar Financial Network, a life insurance and annuity products provider to independent insurance agents nationwide. The company opened offices in Salt Lake City last year. Williams previously served as managing director of annuities at another Salt Lake firm.

Cameron Hill has joined Pentalon Construction as project manager. Hill has more than eight years of commercial construction experience. He is a construction management graduate of BYU.

Cameron Construction has promoted Bruce Buckner to senior estimator. Buckner, a U. graduate, has been with Cameron for 20 years and has more than 30 years of construction experience.

David Fadling has joined the Salt Lake office of PSI, an engineering testing firm, as geotechnical and environmental services manager. Fadling is a graduate of Oregon State University and the University of Colorado. He is a registered professional engineer in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah and a registered geologist in Oregon, Idaho and Wyoming.

Hope Chavez has joined the Salt Lake office of Burns & Wilcox, a specialty insurance wholesaler and underwriter. Chavez will serve as commercial auto underwriter. Prior to joining Burns & Wilcox, Chavez spent five years as commercial auto underwriter at another firm.

XanGo, a dietary supplement company based in Draper, has named Beverly Hollister as vice president of new business development. Hollister previously served as chief marketing officer at a network marketing company.
