He's got three kids, but Jude Law isn't turning into Dr. Spock quite yet. Yes, he's starring in "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow" with new mom Gwyneth Paltrow, and he shot "Closer" with the now-pregnant Julia Roberts.
But don't expect Law to dole out any parenting tips to either of his co-stars.
"I wouldn't need to," says Law, who just met Paltrow's daughter, Apple. Both Paltrow and Roberts have been around his children and, says Law, "are the type of person who engages them immediately as a little person rather than as a child and goes to them with respect rather than patronization."
After "Closer "had wrapped, Law saw a newly pregnant Roberts to shoot one additional scene. He has high confidence in her mommy mettle: "It was so exciting to see her after we heard the news because she's someone who takes to children so naturally. She's going to be a fantastic mom."
