Morinda Holdings Inc., the Provo-based parent company of Tahitian Noni International, announced Wednesday that its founder, John Wadsworth, will be taking a three-year sabbatical to serve as a mission president for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

While on sabbatical, Wadsworth will remain a member of Morinda's board of directors. He is expected to return in the summer of 2008.
