PHILADELPHIA (AP) — A man already serving a life sentence for murder was linked through DNA evidence to the rape and slaying of a teenager more than 15 years ago, authorities said Tuesday.

Carmen Berrocal, 18, was found face down in a creek in June 1989, just a week after her high school graduation. Police said DNA swabbed from her body came from Raymond Williams, 41, who is serving time at Pennsylvania's Graterford Prison for a 1992 murder.
