Stephen Leon Brower, 82, president of the Church College of Hawaii from 1971-1974, died Dec. 22, 2004, in Logan, Utah. He also served as president of the Colombia Venezuela Mission from 1968-1971 and was a professor of sociology and management and later assistant dean of the School of Management at BYU in Provo, Utah. His wife, Vivian Higginson Brower, died in 2000.
David Clyde Campbell, 68, president of the Tennessee Nashville Mission from 1987-1990, died Dec. 11, 2004, in Draper, Utah. He was a former member of the Young Men general board.
Eileen R. Dunyon Christensen, 87, who served as second counselor in the Primary general presidency from 1962-1963, died Dec. 24, 2004, in Farmington, Utah. She served as a member of the Primary general board for 11 years and served with her first husband, Joy F. Dunyon, when he presided over the Central British Mission. He died in 1980.
Hal R. Johnson, 85, president of the Brazil North Mission from 1968-1971, died Dec. 26, 2004, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Brother Johnson was also president of the Sao Paulo Brazil Temple from 1984-1987, and was a former regional representative and was a stake patriarch at the time of his death.
