Vicki B. Llewellyn Poff "My mother, my friend" Vicki Poff was born September 15, 1943, she died January 28, 2005, after battling cardiomyopathy for several years. She was born in Bishop, California to Fred H. and Irene Bethers Llewellyn. Vicki married her soul mate George G. Poff on May 3, 1967; they had 30 wonderful years together. They had three children: Scott (Valerie), Karen (Bud) Peterson and Neil (Janel). Vicki loved spending time with her grandchildren; Dacia, Riley, Victoria "Tori," Kolby, Lindsay, Azlund, George "Buddy," and Hannah. The grandkids will always remember the great times they had with Grandma. Vicki retired from the Salt Lake County Sheriff's office as a correctional sergeant. She was an avid genealogist and loved her work at the LDS Family History library. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed her gatherings with her Red Hat friends. "I shall wear a purple dress with a Red Hat." She is survived by her children, grandchildren, mother, and eight brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by George her husband and Fred her father. She now joins them for eternity. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 2, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westbrook Ward 6500 South Dixie Drive in West Jordan. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday February 1, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, and again one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
