Cry me a river, will ya! Get over it! First you (former South Sevier High School English teacher Erin Jensen) cry about being discriminated against. Then you cry about being fired. Then you cry about the justice system and you insult the integrity of the jurors.

It was your responsibility to teach English. It is the responsibility of all of us to be sensitive to the customs and cultural differences that we, as part of a diverse society, share.

The facts are: low SAT scores, teaching subjects other than English while you were responsible to only teach English, the lack of respect for protocol and decorum in choosing not to attend a teachers' seminar.

The fact that you were observed drinking coffee might be considered to be open act of disrespect and or defiance. When in Rome do as the Romans do, or at least display a certain level of respect by not being so obvious.

Further, were you not a "woman" when hired? Were you non-LDS when hired?
