Dr. Rebecca L. Ponder has joined the IHC Physician Group, opening her practice at the IHC Health Center Salt Lake Clinic. The Utah Youth Symphony announced that Paul H. Matthews has been appointed chief executive officer and Cory Maxfield was named to the symphony's board of directors. Matthews, a Salt Lake attorney, is president of Paul H. Matthews & Associates. He is a graduate of the U. College of Law. Maxfield is a former principal flutist with the Westminster Chamber Orchestra. She has performed with various groups in Washington and Utah and has taught privately for 18 years.
PricewaterhouseCoopers announced four staff changes. Jill Briggs was named tax director in the Salt Lake office. She will manage day-to-day consulting and compliance projects. Briggs is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the U. Kevin R. Page was hired as an assurance manager in the Salt Lake office. He will manage private and public audits. He is a graduate of the U. Mikelle Mansfield was promoted to assurance manager. Mansfield is a graduate of the U. Ryan Dent also was named assurance manager in the Salt Lake office. Dent is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Utah State University.
Janna Jensen has joined Educators Mutual Insurance Association, a nonprofit organization serving Utah's public schools and higher education institutions, as marketing manager. Jensen has 10 years of experience in communication design, including two years of experience in higher education. She is a graduate of Westminster College.
The University Hospital Foundation at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center announced that Andrea Barnes and Dennis Jolley have joined the foundation as development directors. Barnes comes to the foundation from a private school in Sandy, where she served 10 years in planning and development. Jolley headed a private school in Salt Lake City before joining the foundation.
Richter7, a Salt Lake-based advertising and public relations agency, has hired Mike Giepert as production designer. Giepert comes to Richter7 from a Salt Lake automotive group, where he served as graphic designer.
Wasatch Property Management announced that Pat Morse was promoted to general manager of Remington Apartments, a 288-unit gated community in Midvale. Morse joined Wasatch in 2000 as a leasing agent at Crossroads, a 240-unit community in West Valley. He was named manager of that community in 2002.
Wasatch Development Associates, a Salt Lake-based commercial development company, has hired April Washburn as contract administrator. Washburn has more than 12 years of experience in the construction and environmental industry.
Scott Lalli was named managing broker for the Bountiful office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Lalli was most recently principal broker and owner of Home Choice Real Estate in Bountiful and has worked in the real estate industry for 10 years.
Stan Fitts, a shareholder at the law firm of Strong & Hanni, was named chairman of the Construction Law section of the Utah State Bar. Fitts is a member of the business real estate group, construction and design law group and the commercial litigation group at Strong & Hanni. His practice concentrates in construction and design liability defense, real estate and commercial litigation.
Tyler Seamons was named president of the Brokers Board at the 2005 Tradia National Conference. Seamons is also a member of the Tradia Commerce board of directors and owns Tradia franchises in Utah and Colorado. Tradia is a barter system for businesses, employees and individuals.
National City Mortgage, a division of National City Bank of Indiana, announced that Dale Gibson has been hired as branch manager of the company's Orem location. Gibson has worked in the mortgage banking industry for five years. He attended the University of Oregon.
Deedee Corradini, senior vice president of corporate development for Prudential Utah Real Estate, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Economic Development Corp. of Utah for a three-year term. Corradini specializes in corporate relocation, commercial investment opportunities and residential real estate development for Prudential. She is the former mayor of Salt Lake City.
Goldenwest Credit Union has named Kimberly Bishop as the branch manager for its new office in Morgan. Bishop joined Goldenwest in 1999, serving most recently as the new accounts manager in the credit union's corporate office in Ogden. The Morgan office is expected to open this month.
