Brian J. Pugh 11/15/51 ~ 11/8/05 Brian J. Pugh passed away November 8, 2005. Brian was born November 15, 1951 in Burbank, California to Paul Leo Pugh and Beverly Ann Small Pugh. He humbly served his community as a firefighter for the past 30 years. Brian originally served in Salt Lake City and excelled to the rank of Fire Chief at the Port of Portland. Always willing to help in any way, he truly loved to serve his fellow man. He had an immense love of nature and appreciated all of its beauty. An active outdoorsman, he tried to go camping or hiking whenever he could. Family was a passionate commitment for him. As a father and husband he is deeply loved. Brian is survived by his wife, June; father, Paul; stepmother, Marcile; brother Tony; sister Shauna; and Brian's eight children, Shane, Travis (Lesley), Heidi (Jon), Brandy (Karl), Isaac, Taunya (Robert), Kendra, and Simon; stepdaughter, Hillary; and six grandchildren, Taylor, Carson, Jordan, Hailey, Dylann and Boden. Preceded in death by his mother, and two sons, Caleb and Jonas. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 14, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at the Valley Park 4th Ward, 2603 West 4700 South. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
