As a child, I attended five different elementary schools yet still turned out to be an intelligent, responsible member of society. A big part of this was due to the example of my parents. They said to me, "Let's go make this new school as great as your last school." Never did they act like my life would be traumatized if I had to attend a new school.

Kids are, in general, very flexible and will adapt to new situations, if we as parents will give them that chance. But when parents, by their actions, tell them that attending a new school will ruin their life, this is the attitude that they will adopt.
