Jerrald M Jensen "Jerry" Our loving husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on November 4, 2005 in York, Pennsylvania. Jerry was born May 21, 1955 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Moyle and DeOn Jensen. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, he served an LDS mission to Independence Missouri from 1974 to 1976. He attended Snow College where he served as student body president. On May 16, 1980 he was sealed to Janet Embley in the Oakland LDS Temple. Jerry graduated from the University of Utah in 1985. He worked for many years in the produce business. He most recently worked for Eagle Eye Distributors as a produce dealer. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, especially being in the mountains with his family. He had a special love for music and enjoyed sharing his musical talents with others. Next to his love for his wife and family, his most rewarding opportunities came from serving the Lord. His greatest love was serving among the youth of the Church. He served as President of the Jordan Oaks Stake in West Jordan, Utah. At the time of his death, he was serving as the President of the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania LDS Mission. In the short time he was allowed to serve, he developed a deep love for each missionary. Jerry is survived by his wife; children, Alexis (David) Geist, Andrew (Adrienne), Morgan (serving in the Lisbon, Portugal Mission), Nathan (17), Austin (15), Daniel and Caleb (9), Michael (5); grandchildren, Marcus and Gabriel; his father; sisters Janette Keysaw and Connie Brown; and brothers Kelly and Carl. Preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the Jordan Oaks Stake Center, 8117 So. Leslie Dr. (3905 W). State St. Midvale Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 9-10:30 a.m. Interment will be at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo.
