America First Credit Union has earned the 2005 National Dora Maxwell award on both the local and national level.

The award honors charitable works. AFCU's activities include working with the Utah League of Credit Unions to establish the 100 Percent For Kids Credit Union Education Foundation and also financial literacy programs as part of the credit union movement People Helping People.
