When I was a little girl, my parents would not allow me to see any movies with violence. So when they finally let me attend "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (because they thought I was of age and also because of the classical value of the movie), I had such difficulty that it almost traumatized me. Films serve us. They help us relate to our own lives even preparing for similar situations. We don't want violence in our lives but better to be prepared than traumatized.
