Obituary: Ralph C. Raddon

Ralph C. Raddon 1927 ~ 2005 Ralph Clyde Raddon returned to his Heavenly Father on Feb 10, 2005. He was born September 13, 1927 to Clyde and Maud Raddon in West Jordan, Utah. Graduated from Jordan High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1945 to 1946, and served on the USS Kula Gulf Aircraft Carrier. He married Geraldine Holt on June 3, 1950 in Elko, Nevada; later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She preceded him in death. Married Sondra Christensen on September 29, 2001 in the Jordan River Temple. Ralph worked in the wholesale hardware business for many years. He enjoyed gardening, his dogs and going on cruises. His children and grandchildren were the light of his life. Survived by his wife, Sondra; daughter, Patrice; five granddaughters; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters; four step-children and their children. Preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine; daughter, Barbara; granddaughter, Tracy, and two great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Monday, February 14th, 1:00 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Cemetery, 4400 West 4100 South. Friends and family may call on Monday, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Kearns 14th Ward, 4232 West 5015 South, prior to graveside services. Funeral directors, Redwood Memorial Estates.
