PROVO — BYU women's basketball player Dani Kubik was suspended for one game for throwing a punch last week against Wyoming.

Kubik was ejected from Saturday's game after being called for a flagrant foul when she threw a punch with 13:29 left in the second half.

NCAA rules automatically disqualify Kubik from playing in the next regular season game, Thursday against Air Force.
