Sixteen agencies on Saturday were presented a total of 158 awards at the Utah Advertising Federation's annual Addy Awards gala at the Salt Lake Marriott University Park Hotel.
Twenty-three "gold" awards were presented, along with 135 "silver."
Love Communications won "Best of Show" along with five gold Addys and two silver Addys. Its print campaign titled "The Truth: Tarot Cards" was produced for the Utah Department of Health. It features a deck of tarot cards showing the fate awaiting the smoker.
Among other top winners were W Communications, which garnered the most awards, earning four gold and 58 silver. Richter7 came away with four gold and 35 silver.
Judges were from five agencies from across the country.
Peggy Lander, partner and executive vice president of advertising for Richter7, was honored as a UAF member who exemplifies extraordinary advertising experience, has made significant contributions to the community and is respected by peers and associates.
State-level winners can compete in a regional competition for a chance to advance to the American Advertising Federation national competition.
