Lauri Keyes Coffey 1959 ~ 2005 LAS VEGAS, CLARK, NEVADA- Lauri Keyes Coffey, 46, died Saturday, April 23, 2005 of complications following surgery. She was born February 13, 1959 in Ogden, Weber, Utah, the daughter of Thomas R. and Wilma Clauson Keyes. She was married to Steven M. Coffey February 11, 1984 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She graduated from Leland High School in San Jose, California, and received her Associate and Bachelor Degrees from Brigham Young University. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and regularly attended the Las Vegas Temple. She was very active in all organizations of the Church all of her life, and loved teaching Primary and serving in Relief Society. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker and a very talented interior designer. All of her homes reflected her talents. She had lived in Ogden, UT; Poughkeepsie, NY; Boulder, CO; Somers, NY; San Jose, CA; Provo, UT; Houston, TX; and Las Vegas, NV. She is survived by her husband Steven M. Coffey; children Patrick Ryan and Stephanie Liane; parents Thomas R. and Wilma Clauson Keyes, Las Vegas, NV; brothers Kenneth R. Keyes, Ovid, ID; and Michael L. Keyes, Las Vegas, NV; grandmother Ruby N. Clauson, Syracuse, UT; and grandfather H. Lewis Wheat, Ogden, UT. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Melville L. Clauson, grandfather Lorin L. Keyes, and grandmother Hazel J. Keyes Wheat. Viewing, Funeral and Interment services will be held Thursday, April 28 in Las Vegas, NV.
