Eva Ardell Farnworth Byer 1910 ~ 2005 WASHINGTON TERRACE- Eva Ardell Farnworth Chantry Jackson Byer, 94, passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2005 at Wasatch Care Center in Ogden. Eva was born June 11, 1910, a daughter of Herbert Farnworth and Rosie Lake Farnworth in Ashton, Idaho. She was a very active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings. Eva lived in Idaho, Utah and California. Many people benefited from her various talents which included being a great homemaker, her quilting, and needlework. Eva loved and wrote poetry of which many poems were published. Eva is survived by her six children, four sons, Donald (Nancy) Chantry, Ogden; Gene (Bonnie) Chantry, Albany, OR; Jerry (Betty) Jackson, Hesperia, CA; Richard (Holly) Jackson, Riverside, CA; two daughters, Wanda (Richard) Chantry Jordan, West Valley; Eva Louise (Ernie) Jackson Watson, Ogden; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Rosa May, Nevada, MO; Edna Richins, Gridley, CA. Preceded in death by her three husbands, three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends and family may call at the mortuary Friday, April 8, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Family wishes to thank all the staff at Wasatch Care Center for their love and tender care given to Eva.
