Maxinne Helen Berry 1941 ~ 2005 Maxinne Helen Berry passed away in her sleep on May 10, 2005 after a long battle with diabetes. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and anyone who knew this incredibly loving woman. Born April 17, 1941 to Irving and Frieda Solomon in Queens New York, she lived a very full life. She married Irwin Berry on June 18, 1967. They made a home on Long Island and in 1982 moved to Salt Lake City with their three daughters. Maxinne was an assistant buyer for Macy's Department Store for 10 years. She was President of the East Northport Jewish Center's Sisterhood and the President of National Council of Jewish Women-Utah Chapter. She was an active volunteer in her community and in her children's schools. Maxinne is survived by her husband Irwin Berry and their daughters, Gayle Burns, Lori and Debra Berry. The light of her last days with us on this earth was her grandson, Ian Burns. She is also survived by her three siblings, Marc Solomon, Charisse Solomon and Stephanie Hennion and nephews, Jason and Joshua Hennion. We will always remember her as she was, full of life, love and compassion. The family expresses deepest thanks to Care Source Hospice Care, Dr. Matthew Hansen and the Highland Care Center for the compassion given to Maxinne. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12th at 1:15 p.m. at Evans & Early Mortuary.
