Jerry Wayne Moss 4/3/33 ~ 4/29/05 SANDY, UT - Jerry Wayne Moss 72, a loved husband, father and grandfather was born on April 3, 1933 Huntington, UT to James Wayne and Ruth Wheeler Moss; he died April 29, 2005 in Logan, Utah of heart failure. He married Jedda King April 19, 1954 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. She passed away in 1995. He later married Daryl Meadows, Oct. 13, 2001. He is survived by his wife Daryl, son Jed (Aileen) of Smithfield, daughters Rebecca (Kevin) Hanna and Terri Moss of Las Vegas, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jedda, his parents and brother. Jerry was a member of the LDS Church and a veteran of the US Army. He was a welder by profession, retiring from the Utah State Highway Department. He was a life long member of the Salt Lake City Motorcycle Club, and Utah Pheasant Society. As a member of the SLMC he received many awards and served as Sergeant of Arms for many years. His love of motorcycling continued to be his fun and recreation until his health prevented it. As a member of the Pheasant Society, he became known for his ability to raise Champion Show Pheasants. His hobbies included raising pheasants, motorcycling, glass engraving, and woodworking. He was very creative and worked well with his hands. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Family and friends may call Wednesday, May 4, 2005 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, located at 4760 S. State Street, Murray Utah. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at the Murray City Cemetery.
