Salt Lake-based UCN Inc. said Monday it has agreed to acquire assets of TransTel Communications Inc. for $2.2 million.
UCN provides contact center application services and business telecommunication services over its national Voice over Internet Protocol network. TransTel is a regional telecom carrier doing business as TelAmerica in Utah and Colorado and as ExpressTel in Arizona, California and Nevada.
The purchased assets include a customer base of more than 20,000 in the West.
