Robert W. Clayton (Readers' Forum, June 12) — not Sen. Chris Buttars — is the one making critical errors. It is the "law" of gravity, not the "theory" of gravity. Theories are just that. They are not facts. He also confuses verifiable adaptation — or micro-evolution — with macro-evolution. They are not the same. Macro-evolution is not a fact. There is no evidence that it occurs. All fossils are unique and perfectly formed with none looking almost like monkeys, almost like humans or with an infinite variation in between.
