Guenter Nitz 1931 ~ 2005 Guenter Nitz passed away peacefully in his home at the side of his loving wife, Gisela, July 9, 2005. Guenter was born on June 19, 1931 in Essen, Germany to Wilhelm Friedrich and Veronika Zdunnek Nitz. Guenter served a full-time mission for the LDS Church in Hamburg, Germany, and served his country faithfully in the US Armed Forces. He was loved by all who met him. He always had a positive attitude, even when things weren't going well. Guenter's greatest possession was his family. He did everything he could for them. What a great reunion it will be with him again. WE LOVE YOU, OPA!
