Philip Gorst flips into the air as he enjoys the pools at Raging Waters on Friday. Water parks, swimming pools, lakes, rivers, lawn sprinklers, etc., around the state may offer outdoor recreationists a brief reprieve from summer temperatures, soaring in the vicinity of 100 degrees. The coming week promises more of the scorching same, with few clouds and probably no hope of rain.
