Golfers experiencing sudden and violent hacking, acute hydrophobia, particularly on long par threes, or the inoperable dead-pull left . . . fear not, help is one swing away.
The ease and enjoyment of Nike Golf's CPR hybrids — Clubs for Prevention and Recovery — are coming to Salt Lake
City/Provo. Named Hybrids of the Year in 2004 by Golf Digest, the CPR clubs are arguably the easiest clubs to hit for distances equal to that of five irons up through — and even beyond — a two iron.
Nike Golf's CPR "medics" will demonstrate and allow golfers to test — free of charge — the full line of CPR woods, CPR iron-woods, and the new CPR mixed set. The medics will write CPR "prescriptions" to remedy any ill conditions experienced on the golf course. Participants will have the opportunity to win CPR T-shirts, hats, sleeves of new Nike Golf balls, and more. The entire line of Nike Golf equipment will be available for demo and purchase.
The Utah Valley demonstrations will be held:
Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. at Thanksgiving Point, 3300 W. Club House Dr., Lehi.
Thursday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverside Country Club, 2701 N. University Ave., Provo.
Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Copeland's, 4801 N. University Ave., Suite 210, Provo.
A Wednesday demonstration was held at TalonsCove Golf Club.
