The east wing of the Salt Lake Regional Medical Center (formerly Holy Cross Hospital) is shown being demolished this past week as part of the hospital's renovation project. IASIS Healthcare will undertake a multiphase $36 million renovation of the 129-year-old hospital by owner IASIS Healthcare that will take several years. The space created from the east wing's demolition will be turned into a section for new medical offices, offering various services for community members. A groundbreaking ceremony is tentatively planned for August.
