It's a girl for "Blind Justice" actress Rena Sofer and her husband, TV director Sanford Bookstaver.
The 36-year-old actress gave birth Aug. 5 to Avalon Leone Bookstaver at a Los Angeles hospital, publicist Nancy Iannios said Friday.
Sofer has an 8-year-old daughter from a previous marriage. It's the first child for Bookstaver, 31, who has directed episodes of "The O.C." and "One Tree Hill." The couple married in May 2003.

Sofer plays Ron Eldard's wife in "Blind Justice" and has also appeared in "Just Shoot Me!" and NBC's short-lived version of the British series "Coupling."
