Obituary: Pete Morris

Pete Morris 1914 ~ 2005 Pete Morris, 91 of Salt Lake City, died August 21, 2005. He was born July 1, 1914 in Garfield, Utah. He was raised in Carbon County. He worked in the mining, trucking, and steel industries. He was a tech sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, 1942 - 1946. He married Frances Koncher on July 10, 1943. She died December 9, 2003. Pete is survived by his daughter, Marlene M. Morris of Salt Lake City; son, Peter D. Morris of Clinton, Utah; and granddaughter, Julia K. Morris of Salt Lake City. A very special thanks to Brad Banks and the employees at Intermountain Wood Products for the many kindnesses they extended to Pete for the past 25 years. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 South. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell and Sons.
