Salt Lake-based Turinco Inc. said Monday it has acquired Arvana Networks Inc. in exchange for 4.5 million shares of restricted common stock.

Arvana is a managed voice services provider.

Turinco said Arvana plans to focus its initial business operations on Latin America, providing the market with options to use Voice over Internet Protocol for long-distance and international phone calls.
