JFK's nephew, Christopher Lawford Kennedy, son of presidential sister Patricia Kennedy and actor Peter Lawford, spills some family secrets in his new memoir, the New York Post reported Friday.
In "Symptoms of Withdrawal," Lawford writes, "I was given a good dose of alcoholism and the massive dysfunction that exists in a family dynamic where alcoholism doesn't just run, it gallops."
Elsewhere, Lawford reveals that:
At age 11, he caught Jackie Kennedy naked. Lawford was sleeping over at her apartment while visiting his cousin JFK Jr., and he happened to walk in on Jackie getting ready to take a bath.
His father was a famous ladies' man. Peter Lawford told his son that the best sex he ever had was with Lana Turner and that he'd never slept with Marilyn Monroe because she smelled. "My dad was real particular about hygiene," the younger Lawford recalls.
He almost joined JFK Jr. on the doomed plane ride that took his life. Lawford speculates that an injured leg caused his cousin to crash, noting that John had trouble even walking.
