Trendwest Resorts Inc., a vacation ownership company based in Redmond, Wash., announced plans to develop a 36-unit resort in Midway, Wasatch County.
The WorldMark Midway will feature all two-bedroom, furnished vacation villas. Each unit will include a fully-equipped kitchen, living and dining area, washer/dryer and audio/video entertainment center. The company also will add a recreation building, pool and spa.
Construction is under way and is expected to be complete by May 2006. Trendwest currently operates 58 WorldMark resorts in the United States, British Columbia, Mexico and Fiji.
