Irmgard Martha Uchtdorf "All Around Great Lady" Irmgard Martha Uchtdorf, 81, passed away January 7, 2006. She was born May 7, 1924 in Heidelberg, Germany to Franz and Martha Luschtinetz. On May 7, 1959 Irmgard married Wolfgang Karl Uchtdorf in Elko, Nevada. Karl died in 1972. Irmgard worked as a translator for the U.S. Army in Germany after World War II. She was an excellent photographer, devoted archaeologist, a lover of the desert, loved to work with ceramics and animals, and was a collector of everything. Survivors: adopted daughter, Diana Uchtdorf, Arizona; nephew, Jurgen Luschtinetz and his family in Germany; niece, Dagmar Weber, Germany; dear friends, Paul and Joan Ostler, Sandy; brother-in-law, Elder Dieter Uchtdorf (Harriet), Salt Lake City; sister-in-law, Crystal. Irmgard's family expresses sincere thanks to the staff at Crosslands Health Care for their devotion to Irmgard. Irmgard requested no services.
