Lyndon John Bell "Loving Husband & Father" Lyndon John Bell, formerly of West Jordan, Utah, returned home to his Father-in-Heaven on January 8, 2006. Lynn was born March 14, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John Elias Bell and Fern Juanita Grimes. Lynn grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from Granite High School. He retired from the Utah National Guard after 20 years of service. Lynn retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of employment. His great love was music. He played trumpet, coronet, and baritone. He was a member of the Post Office Band, Capital English Brass Band, Murray Symphonic Band and was in a Dixieland Jazz Combo "Easy Street" at various times during his life. Lynn married Patricia Ann Naylor on April 24, 1970, in the Logan LDS temple. Lynn and his wife Pat raised a family in West Jordan. They are the parents of three children and grandparents of two. They moved to Yuma, Arizona in May 2005. Lynn was a good husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his family very much. He was active in the LDS church where he held many callings. He loved serving in the LDS temple. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. Lynn is survived by his wife Patricia Ann Naylor; two sons, Shawn (Sheeila), Yuma, AZ; Jason, Logan; daughter, Amber, San Jose, CA; two grandchildren, Joshua and Jaycee; parents, John Bell and Fern Grimes, Salt Lake City; two brothers, Daniel Bell (Jeani), Sandy; Greg Bell, Salt Lake City; sister, Laurie Pearson (Samuel), Tucson, AZ; mother-in-law, DeEsta Naylor, Logan. Funeral Services will be Monday Jan. 16, 10 a.m. (9 a.m. viewing) at the WJ 29th Ward, 6695 S 2200 W, West Jordan. A viewing will be held Sunday 5-7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S State, Salt Lake. Interment, Logan City Cemetery.
