Nola Inez Quarnberg Wasden 1914 ~ 2006 SCIPIO, UTAH - Nola Inez Quarnberg Wasden, age 91, passed away Sat., January 21, 2006, in Scipio. She was born October 22, 1914, in Scipio, Utah, to Reuben and Blonda L. Stone Quarnberg. She married Alma Lloyd Wasden January 11, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nola, graduated from Millard High School, and was certified by the Chicago School of Interior Design as an interior designer. After being certified she taught classes in interior design. Nola was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in many leadership capacities including the; Young Women's Organization and Relief Society Presidency. She enjoyed serving others. Nola and her husband owned and operated Lloyd's market in Scipio for many years where her warmth and compassion was felt by all who knew her. Surviving family include her: husband, Alma Lloyd, of Scipio; son, Lyle L. (Rebecca) Wasden, of Springville, UT; 11 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren; brothers, Don (Phyllis) Quarnberg, Le Grande (Helen) Quarnberg, Burtis (Connie) Quarnberg, and David (Janice) Quarnberg; sisters, Selma (Arthur) Trantor, LeNoir (Nick) Nichols and Hazel (Gordon) Diehl. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and sister Merrill Quarnberg, and Leah Stanton and a son F. Del Wasden. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Scipio Ward Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services, at the chapel.
