Texas-based Horizon Health Corp. said Tuesday it has completed the acquisition of Kids Behavioral Health of Utah Inc., which does business as Copper Hills Youth Center.

The center is a 126-bed adolescent residential behavioral-health treatment center in West Jordan.

It had net revenues of approximately $11.9 million for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2004, and net revenues of about $11.7 million for the 11 months ended Nov. 30, 2005.

The acquisition brings to 14 the number of behavior-health facilities for Horizon Health, which also is a contract manager of clinical services for acute-care hospitals and employers.
