Obituary: Kenneth Arnold Thornley

Kenneth Thornley 1916 ~ 2006 Kenneth Arnold Thornley, 89, former Basalt resident, died September 28, 2006, under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho at Aspen Grove Assisted Living Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was born November 8, 1916, in Smithfield, UT, to Arnold and Lillie Olsen Thornley; his moth-er passed away when he was eight years old. He attended schools in Cache Valley area, leaving home at an early age. He returned to Richmond, UT to marry Stella Spackman Bright September 7, 1937, bringing her to Idaho to start their family of two sons and four daughters. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Graveside services will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Fielding Memorial Park, South Yellowstone Highway, Idaho Falls.
